Milhaus develops in secondary markets with emerging technology and healthcare sectors that offer dynamic job growth in high-wage sectors, benefit from less competition and enhanced spreads, and provide greater stability as economic cycles occur.
  • Data-Driven Market Selection – Each year we analyze key data points such as jobs created vs. building permits pulled, millennial population growth, percentage of income spent on rent, and quality of labor for our current markets and the 40 largest markets in the United States. We carefully select the markets and submarkets we want to invest in for the long term and allocate resources accordingly to drive pipeline and project execution.
  • Extensive Experience - Milhaus has developed over $1 billion of multifamily projects across secondary markets.
  • Vertically Integrated Capabilities – Our team offers in-house development, pre-construction, construction, property management and capital syndication capabilities to drive on time on budget at quality performance.
  • Institutional Back Office – Led by our best-in-class board of directors, Milhaus has developed an infrastructure to manage our investments for the long term.
  • Direct Investing - Milhaus offers individuals, funds, managers, and brokers the ability to invest directly into the real estate and partner with the operator acquiring, developing, constructing and managing the project to provide transparency and direct access to deal-level returns.
Milhaus develops, constructs, and stabilizes 1,500+ units per year across 10 markets. Milhaus raises equity on a deal-by-deal basis to allow investors to individually evaluate each project’s business plan. Each project is typically syndicated 60 to 120 days prior to the anticipated closing of the construction loan.
