If you’re looking for a way for a relaxing and reflective way to start your weekend, visit the newest exhibit at the Cole-Noble Gallery at Artistry.

Reflective, an art installation experience by Chad Hankins opens during a First Friday event on Friday, August 7 from 6 – 9 p.m. Enjoy fine art, hors d’oeuvres by Palomino, and wine during the evening.

The exhibit is designed to be interactive and includes photography, paintings and sculpture. In a world where our minds constantly shift and we’re bouncing from one thing to another, a visit will help you focus and think. “The work is only complete when the visitor is present and involved,” added Hankins. “You will have the chance to see the past side by side with the present through angled mirrors, computers, cameras and a screen.”

Chad Hankins got his start as a graffiti artist during his teen years in Indianapolis and later attended Herron School of Art and Design, receiving his BFA in sculpture in 2014 He focuses on interactive experiences. Last year, he painted a 2,600 square foot mural at Harding St. and I-70 with his friend Andrey Sinchuga and with the help of 30 Lilly employees.
