Milhaus welcomes Cornerstones of Care Youth

Milhaus representatives from the Kansas City office who work in development, construction, maintenance and property management will be onsite to answer questions and discuss career opportunities in the real estate industry. Many Milhaus trade partners also will be onsite to meet with the teens and answer questions. Companies include Draw Architecture and Urban Design, Oliver Electric, Welker Heating and Cooling, Garrison Plumbing, Foley Rental, Cool Insulation, Safety Dave from Progressive Environmental and Safety Consulting, Kaw Valley Companies, Blue Nile Flack Painting, Bam Contracting and Decal Construction.

“Education is one of our Milhaus philanthropic focus areas. We see this is as an excellent opportunity to assist a local organization by educating their youth about opportunities in skilled labor trade work, which are in demand and provide career opportunities that don’t require a four-year degree. Friday’s event will serve as a mini-job fair to teach the youth about the many different opportunities in the construction world,” says Project Superintendent Josh Williams.
