Milhaus Launches Construction Division

Milhaus is expanding with a new division, Milhaus Construction, and has hired Gregg Hendershot to lead it. Gregg will oversee developments beginning with pre-construction through substantial completion for both in-house and client projects. He has served as vice president of construction for Buckingham Companies and the J.C. Hart Company in Indianapolis where he directed regional divisions. Previously, as president, he led Crosland’s multi-family contracting division throughout the southeast. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in building construction and contracting.

The first project of the new division is Mozzo Apartments at 531 Virginia Ave. in the Holy Rosary neighborhood in downtown Indianapolis. The four-story mixed-use building will include 64 studios, one bedroom and two bedroom units as well as a corner cafe space near the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. Construction is scheduled to begin this spring.
