INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 7, 2022) – Milhaus, a national award-winning developer, general contractor, owner and operator of Class-A multifamily properties, announces today that Jon Fryling has been hired as Vice President of Construction. Fryling brings with him 20 years of experience in procurement, warranty, field construction and resource planning in the residential homebuilding industry. He will oversee Milhaus’ construction and construction services across the country.

Fryling built his career at Pulte Group, joining the home construction company in Indianapolis in 2001 after graduating from Purdue with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. Fryling served in a variety of purchasing and field, planning and construction manager positions before being named director of construction operations in 2017. As director, and later vice president of construction operations, Fryling oversaw the growth of field-level employees and managers from 55 to more than 70 in the Indianapolis and Louisville divisions. He oversaw 4,200+ closings over four years.

“Milhaus has seen nearly exponential growth over the past several years in markets across nine Midwest and Sunbelt states. With over a dozen construction projects ongoing at any one time, we need an experienced leader to oversee the entire construction business with an eye towards future growth. Jon is the right person for the job,” said Greg Martin, COO of Milhaus. “We’re excited for him to join the team and contribute to our operations across the country.”

As Vice President of Construction, Fryling will manage pre-construction, construction administration, project management staff and field construction superintendents and will be responsible for creating the annual corporate budget. He will oversee all aspects of construction from pre-construction through substantial completion and warranty for all of Milhaus’ projects. Milhaus plans to build approximately 2,500 units in 2022, including large scale urban and suburban infill projects in Austin, Indianapolis, Phoenix, Kansas City, Cincinnati and Oklahoma City.

“I am very excited to join the Milhaus Team and be part of all of the extraordinary things happening at Milhaus,” Fryling said. “I am eager to learn as quickly as I can and help in every way I can to make a positive impact on this strong team and for this exceptional organization. Milhaus has an impressive portfolio of past and current projects that have established not only a solid foundation, but a respected reputation, to be built on and expanded in the future. The hard work of so many is what brought Milhaus to this point, and I cannot wait to get started and be part of all of the great things we are going to do together in the future.”

Founded in 2010, Milhaus exclusively targets secondary markets across the Midwest and Sunbelt. The company’s current portfolio includes over 6,500 units in more than two dozen properties across 11 states. For more on Milhaus, visit www.milhaus.com
