Mark Lyons Joins Milhaus as SVP of Accounting

Lyons’ extensive expertise in accounting and financial analysis will strengthen and guide Milhaus’ financial portfolio. 

INDIANAPOLIS (October 26, 2022) – Milhaus, a national award-winning developer, owner and operator of Class-A, in-fill and mixed-use developments, announces today that Mark Lyons has been hired as Senior Vice President of Accounting. Lyons brings nearly 20 years of financial management experience to lead Milhaus’ accounting department.

With significant experience in real estate in accounting and financial planning, Lyons most recently served as Senior Vice President - Controller for Invesque, headquartered in Fishers, Indiana. There, he led an accounting function for a $1.5 billion portfolio that generated nearly $200 million in revenue annually. Lyons’ extensive skill set in managing investments that include skilled nursing facilities, seniors housing properties and medical office buildings will allow him to make a seamless transition to multifamily developments as he manages the accounting function for Milhaus and its affiliates.

As Milhaus’ SVP of Accounting, Lyons will exercise his financial prowess by monitoring and managing accounting, treasury management, and administrative functions while leading and managing the entire accounting team. Lyons will work closely with the leadership team to consolidate the financial reporting of all Milhaus entities.

Lyons earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in accounting, finance and international studies. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Indiana and also volunteers his time as a treasurer for Agape Therapeutic Riding Resources, a not-for-profit organization.
