Residents have begun moving into Gantry, the latest addition to the Northside community, Gantry is the first Milhaus development in Cincinnati and is geared toward becoming an integral part of the surrounding neighborhood.

Gantry includes 131 studio, one- and two-bedroom residences as well as 8,000 square feet of retail space. Located at 1580 Blue Rock Street, the development is in the heart of the neighborhood and is a revitalization of a former lumberyard, the Myron G. Johnson & Son Lumber Co., that dates back to the turn of the 19th century.

Blending the convenience of urban living with the creativity of the Northside neighborhood, Gantry, a LEED Silver certification candidate is named for a piece of machinery found in lumberyards. In creating Gantry, developers collaborated with local community groups to adhere to the neighborhood’s historic guidelines and to create an environment where residents can interact with and take part of all of the great amenities the Northside has to offer. There are many local shops, restaurants, parks and a fitness center within walking distance.

The apartments feature high-end finishes, an urban decor and an attention to detail including 42” cabinets, granite countertops and hard-surface floors (wood-style or concrete). The pet friendly community also offers washers and dryers in every unit, interior bike storage, private garages, private storage rooms, a recycling room, on-site management and 24-hour maintenance.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at Gantry on Friday, April 8 at 11:15 a.m. featuring John Cranley, Cincinnati mayor, Ollie Kroner, Northside Community Council president, and Greg Martin, co-founder and vice president of development, Milhaus.
