Milhaus Development, Mayor Greg Ballard and Indianapolis Downtown Inc. President Sherry Seiwert celebrated the completion of the main structure of Artistry with a beam signing ceremony and site tour. The $26 million mixed-use project is on track for the first apartment homes to be available this fall.

“Artistry is a symbol of what we stand for as a company,” said David Leazenby, Partner, Milhaus Development. “Together with our partners, we are creating a critical connector between downtown and the Cole Noble District that will continue to encourage revitalization in the area.”

Due to great interest in Artistry, a wait list for prospective residents opened last week. A reservation on the list and a $100 deposit guarantees a choice of apartment and location in the order signed up. Those who join the wait list will also be enrolled in a Preferred Resident program which will include Indiana artist studio tours, referral bonuses, walking tours and special events at Artistry.

Located at 451 East Market, Artistry is being transformed into a five-story mixed use space with apartments as well as retail and office space. Customers can choose from studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans with high-end finishes such as stainless steel and granite kitchen countertops, 42” cabinets, designer hardware and lighting fixtures as well as concrete flooring. Industrial loft units on the second floor will also be available with 14’ foot ceilings and direct courtyard access.

Artistry is pet friendly and includes unique amenities such as a rooftop recreation deck and an infinity pool with dramatic views of downtown. There will also be an art gallery, movie theatre, café, wellness studio and aqua lounge. The two courtyards feature an outdoor kitchen, vegetable garden, bocce ball court, putting green and sitting areas. Valet trash, recycling and laundry will be part of the concierge services. Covered parking is also available. For more details, visit artistryindy.com.

The name “Artistry” reflects an appreciation of the arts and the Cole-Noble District’s history of craft and skill. The development will feature pieces by area artists and incorporate an arts theme into various building features such as interiors, fixtures and signage as well as the overall residential experience.
