There will be a new but familiar face representing Milhaus in Oklahoma City.

Adam Hammack, an Oklahoma native, will live and work in the Oklahoma City market as Vice President for Development. He will lead the development of LIFT, a $45 million, mixed-use development in the Midtown neighborhood that is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2015. In addition, he will oversee future projects in the market, ranging from site identification to project development completion for Milhaus.

“We have been in this market for a few years, with projects in active development and construction, and love the possibilities for continued urban residential change in Oklahoma City,” said Jeremy Stephenson, President, Milhaus Development. “To bring a person like Adam back to his hometown with his vision and ability to execute in previous cities is exciting for Milhaus as we expand our presence here.”

“I have watched the type of impact that Milhaus is making in markets nationally; creating a sense of place with their residentially based developments. I want to build on that vision in Oklahoma City,” said Hammack. “I first became interested in the real estate business while tracking the original MAPS projects and seeing the impact. OKC is a wonderful place to live and work. I can't wait to move back with my family and reconnect through leading Milhaus’ efforts here.”

Hammack graduated from Oklahoma State University and then received his master’s degree in community and regional planning from University of Texas at Austin. Having first started his career in Austin, he then moved to Trammell Crow Company in Dallas before joining CBRE (also in Dallas) as a vice president where he completed 9 million square feet of real estate transactions. Hammack was also awarded the Heavy Hitter award by the Dallas Business Journal on several occasions and has been active with the Urban Land Institute.
