One of Indianapolis’ most active organizations has moved to Circa, in the historic Chatham-Arch District of Indianapolis. IndyHub is a nonprofit organization that serves as an advocate and resource for twenty- and thirty-somethings.

“We’re thrilled to have a space at Circa where we can invite friends and soon-to-be friends over to hang out and get to know us better,” said Jenny Walton, director of communications and engagement, IndyHub. “It’s a great location with natural brand exposure. Since we’re right off of Mass Ave and right next to the Cultural Trail, we’re hoping to catch more people who might be interested in what we do.”

IndyHub is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2015. It began as a way to attract and retain young professionals in the Circle City by connecting them with community organizations, local businesses and the city’s culture.

Over the years, it’s grown into a group that focuses on helping individuals develop their own Indianapolis experience – so that they care and feel invested in their city. That means helping them get involved with organizations so they can volunteer, serve on boards, support the arts, have informed opinions on city, state and regional issues, as well as shop and dine locally.”

“Involvement makes our city a better place for everyone,” added Walton. “While we’re structured to serve Indy’s twenty- and thirty-something crowd, our work is dedicated to the growth, vitality and overall appeal of Indianapolis—which, of course, ultimately benefits all residents and visitors.”

IndyVolved showcases nearly 100 Indy-based nonprofits and civically minded organizations who want to involve the city’s young professionals in the work they do. The event is free and open to the public.
